Finally crossed the Mississippi River and entered the "Gateway to the West." We stopped at some crazy caves on the way into St. Louis where a Native American legend says a giant winged creature named the Piasa lives. It eats people, just so you know how brave I was to sneak past the fence and into the caves. Then I went up in the Arch! Leaving St. Louie, we stopped in Forest Park, where the 1904 World's Fair was held. I had to pose by the gazebo across from the W.F. Pavilion because I may be obsessed with Judy Garland in "Meet Me in St. Louis".
